Link Queries: How are two words connected semantically?Start by checking for synonyms. If there is no match, try "links" to see if they share a synonym. If you begin immediately testing for links and the two words are indeed synonyms, MANY words may be retrieved and retrieval time will be extremely slow. Alternately two synonyms may have a polysemy of 1, so would be incapable of forming links with other words (for example, the equivalent terms F.B.I. and Federal Bureau of Investigation). Note also that only words of 30 characters or less will be matched i.e. use "Federal Bureau of Investigatio" for "Federal Bureau of Investigation."
